Let’s begin to imagine and see color way beyond the color of paint on the walls in your home or a package of construction paper. In these two forms, the walls or construction paper, color is two-dimensional. For the purpose of this discussion and for understanding color in the use of our technology, it is important to see color as three-dimensional formations of sub-atomic particles. You have probably noticed that you feel different on days when you wear red than on days when you wear yellow. And this is because you are wearing an energetic set of sub-atomic particles.
Most color descriptions say there are three basic colors: Red, Yellow and Blue. Green is considered to be a combination of Yellow and Blue. Here we will consider all four colors - Red, Yellow, Green and Blue - and relate these colors to the four elements: Red is Fire, Yellow is Air, Green is Earth, Blue is Water.
We began studying color with the work of Max Luscher, The Luscher Color Test, back in the early 1970’s. As practicing psychotherapists at the time, we found his book to provide a relatively accurate diagnostic tool. Our clients enjoyed it as much as we did and no one went home thinking of themselves as schizophrenic or obsessive compulsive. It always seemed to us that calling people these names gave them a new identity problem they did not have before coming for help. The Luscher book is still on the market today. The best way to use it is to take his color test before reading the book.
In more recent times, we have been referring to the work of Michele Bernhardt, Colorstrology: What Your Birthday Color Says About You. In this book you will find a color for each birthday, along with a description of the personality common to most people born on that day. You will learn about key personality words and phrases and about compatible birthdates based on the color format. Both of these diagnostic books offer opportunities to learn more about who we are naturally.
One of our primary goals has been to develop technologies that quiet a person’s system by canceling some of the superfluous background noise that runs in almost everyone’s head. The “noises” are voices, phases and expressions that we picked up usually in the first ten years of life. They reflect opinions and expressions of unbalanced parents, family members and maybe even young friends. Other voices come from teachers and school experiences. But most of these voice are not flattering and, even more importantly, they are NOT the REAL YOU. They tell us we not pretty enough or handsome enough, smart enough or successful enough. They tell us we are too fat or too thin, too quiet or too noisy, too needy or too burdensome etc. Some tell us we are “B” students or “C Students. Some identify us with a nickname. I know someone who was called “Peanut,” for example, and thought of herself as small and insignificant. And another who was called “Butchie” (a little girl) and thought of herself as “boyish” and not feminine.
No one is their body or their weight. No one is their grades. These and so many other voices cause people to not be able to know themselves. This “noise” causes us to miss the one real voice inside us that we might call Spirit or Witness. Our birth Color information, like much of the Destiny Card and other forms of astrological information, can help many people discover more about who they are, as who they are not drops away.
We have used COLOR in all our balancing technologies right from the beginning of this project. You will notice that all of our instruments have certain symbols, colors and shapes on them to help support the balancing process. Developing these symbols, colors and shapes has been a very complex process and not one that we could discuss adequately in this short article. However, we have begun to show those attending seminars and personal transformation training programs with us how to understand this process more in depth.
Colors are related to planets and elements that affect us all day long. Balancing colors, in addition to all the other aspects in our new instruments, might make a very big difference for some people. Balancing colors can be about accounting for planetary energies a person might be struggling with, or energetic imbalances that relate in simple terms to too much or too little of any given color.
We hope that you will take a few moments and check out our new technology at www.ichingsystems.net. You will see all-new designs on many of our instruments. Be sure to take a moment to look at the pictures to see the integration of certain colors systems. I think you will find the designs fascinating. We look forward to talking more about this new technology at upcoming events and in future articles.
