A week ago I had the pleasure of listening to my good friend Dr. Tom Morter on Texas Home Grown Radio, Wellness Wednesday with Joseph Agrue.
In the course of their discussion, Dr. Tom mentioned that in the forty years of work the Morters have been doing to improve health and well-being through natural means, the number one stressor on a global scale was people not feeling like they were enough, not good enough or smart enough or pretty enough or sexy enough but something NOT enough.
I was very struck by what Dr. Tom said because I Ching Systems for almost four decades have also been on a path to improve health, particularly emotional health. In fact, I have often said that the Millers and the Morters have been traveling on parallel highways toward the same goal. And in this case, I am even more sure this is true because we have also found that this feeling of not being enough of something is among the most dominant, stressful feelings that people have on a global scale. We have also seen that it is probably among the most difficult feelings to overcome.
